The kite club has been incredibly successful at school. The students are now very talented flyers and are using large kites. The School are very proud of the club and use the activity to promote the school with in their school prospectus. The equipment for the club was initially funded by the school, through a successful application from a Sport England grant.

The activity has been so successful that is actually been adopted as a teaching aid within the VI form circular. (Bernoulli principle of flight!)
